Case Studies

“Nobody touches my rigs but Blue Ribbon.” Says Josh Spaid, owner of a 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT we had the privilege of doing window tint and clear bra on. Spaid purchased the 707HP Orange beast in Texas, with only 15 miles on it.  From there, he drove it roughly 1,500 miles home to Missoula.

Only 11,955 Hellcats were produced in 2016, and only 9% (1,073) are Go Mango Orange like Spaids’. The Dodge Hell Cat has a Supercharged 6.2 Liter hemi V-8 and can reach 60mph in 3.4 seconds (Holy smokes!). One of the coolest features of this vehicle is the driver’s side inner headlamp that doubles as a cold air intake. While this sort of feature is nothing new in the world of drag and race cars, it is cleverly integrated on a vehicle that needs all the air it can get.

We applied 3M pro series clear bra to the front of the fenders, half way up the hood, and the whole front bumper. Clear bra protects the paint from rock chips and other debris that can damage your paint. We also tinted the windows all around to really make this one mean looking Hellcat.

Thank you Josh for all your years of loyalty and for the opportunity to make your ride, our pride!

The McLaren 675 LT is the epitome of “fast and fun”. With the re-engineered V8 twin-turbocharged engine and seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, 0-60 in 2.9 seconds seems effortless. This particular McLaren supercar is inspired by the Gulf McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’ which was the ultimate evolution of the Le Mans-winning F1 GTR. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the Oldest (still running) and most prestigious endurance sports car race in the world. It has been held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans, France. This 675LT has been optimized to be the lightest in its class with 40% more aerodynamic down force.

The iconic Gulf Oil livery comes from the McLaren Special Operation (MSO) as per customer request to embody that 1997 McLaren GTR ‘Longtail’. The project took more than 1,000 hours to complete, with 800 of those hours focused on the paint job. The trademarked Dayglo Orange also adorns sill badges with the customers’ initials.

While we only got to repair a rock chip, it really was really is something to behold.

Picture your dream truck. Is it a Race Red F-350? It’s about to be.

At first glance this might seem like any other F350, but when you take a closer look; you can see its all about the details.

We started modifying this beast of a truck by installing a BDS 4” lift with an adjustable coil over conversion kit to really beef things up. With all that added height, you’re going to need some steps. The ICI Magnum RT side steps were perfect for the job with their mix of stealth and function. We integrated ICI red LED puddle lights onto the steps, which turn on when you open the door and shine onto the ground. While we were at it, we threw on some Air Lift air bags with a wireless onboard compressor for any towing needs that get thrown your way. We also installed custom blacked out Ford emblems for the front and the back with the integrated camera system, installed a Rough Country 40” curved light bar in the air dam, tinted the windows, and gave her some new shoes. The SOTA S.C.A.R. Death Metal wheels give it a clean aggressive feel. Last but not least, we tied everything together by color matching the front and rear bumpers to the rest of the vehicle.

These are the kind of projects we love coming into work for. The kind of jobs we get to go all out for, and the kind of jobs that keep our doors open.

You’ve already heard of 0-60 in 3.4, how about 0-60 in 2.3? The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon definitely gives the Hellcat a run for its money. When it comes down to it, it really just depends on what you’re looking for in a Challenger.

While both the Hellcat and the Demon have a 6.2 liter V8 engine, the big difference is the horsepower. The Hellcat pumps out 707-horsepower while the Demon leaves it in the dust with 808-horsepower. The Demon is 100% a performance, drag-racing vehicle. In addition to the extreme power, it also has a larger induction air box (two, count em’ TWO cold air intakes), increased boost pressure, two-dual stage fuels pumps, AND a higher rpm limit. This particular Demon is #2187 of only 3,300 that were produced. So not only is this beast more powerful, it’s also more rare.

We got the opportunity to make this one even more one of a kind. We put fiber optics in the door panels that can change color on command. As well as XK Glow under the vehicle, in the foot wells, in the hood scoop and in the engine bay. We hooked up custom LED side markers and sequential signals. Halo headlights showcase the iconic challenger headlights, and the twin cold air intakes.
