The Off Season

As everyone is getting ready to put away their boat for the season, fall and winter are the perfect times to think about upgrading or restoring these crafts after a hard summer use. This works well for both Blue Ribbon and the customer as busy work may have shifted to other avenues of the shop and better than putting it off until spring time when everybody is itching to get out for the big weekend of fun.

The off season is a good time of year to bring down your boats, jet skis, motorcycles, hot rods and even golf carts for all your custom and restoration needs! The audio department can get you set up with that sound needed to really turn some heads. The accessories technicians are more than capable of installing the lights necessary to see further down the road. Our upholstery team can fix your worn out seats and even come up with that custom interior design you’ve always wanted! We love taking care of our customers and it shows.

No matter what you ride, Your Ride Is Our Pride!

You’ve been in an accident…

Now what…?

We know that getting involved in an accident can be a confusing, stressful situation. That’s why we’re here to help! Whether it’s a bump in the parking lot, or getting close and personal with wildlife, we’ve seen just about everything life can throw at you. This means we know our stuff and can help you every step of the way.

STEP ONE: Stay calm! Staying calm in a tense situation will help you think more rationally, guiding you to take a more logical course of action. You might be injured, and adrenaline in your system has the potential to make you throw logic out the window. So make sure to take a few deep breaths and STAY CALM.

STEP TWO: Call the authorities. This is an important step because it gives a clear indicator of who is at fault in an accident. This will make the repair process as a whole move a bit faster. Especially if stories change.

STEP THREE: Exchange insurance. This ensures that whoever is at fault, their insurance will potentially be able to cover the cost of repairs and any medical. It is AGAINST THE LAW to drive without insurance.

STEP FOUR: Take pictures! These are the angles insurance companies need and what body shops use to create estimates and record damage. It also can help if you can get prospective pictures of where your vehicle is in relation to the other vehicle/object.

STEP FIVE: If you are at fault, call your insurance and file a claim to get the ball rolling. Depending on your insurance company, they will then direct you to go to a body shop or two and get estimates. Some insurance companies will send an estimator to you, and will have the body shop work off of their estimate.

If you don’t have time or happen to work the same hours we do, don’t worry! You can email one of our experienced estimators your pictures and claim number ANY TIME. If you do have the time to stop by, an estimate only takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

The year is 1969. Neil Armstrong takes the first step on the moon, The Beatles are topping the charts and Mercury has released the Marauder X-100. The late 60’s saw the boom of great big luxury coups with the power to really back them up. And Mercury wanted their piece of the pie. The X-100 with the nose of a Marquis, buttress-style roof line, tunneled backlight, and mile long hood, the Marauder was expansive, but easy on the eyes. Make no mistake, the Marauder might have been a force to be reckoned with but it is still smaller than its four door sister The Marquis.

The owner of this particular Marauder decided it was time to restore the interior to its former glory. Our upholstery shop applied their incredible attention to detail to every step of this restoration. With diamond pleats through out, custom stitching and crushed velvet, sitting in these vehicle really takes you into the past. The whole dash was removed and restored to its original goodness, as well as new carpet throughout even in the trunk. The whole job took over two months to complete. This is one vehicle we can definitely be proud of.

You’ve already heard of 0-60 in 3.4, how about 0-60 in 2.3? The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon definitely gives the Hellcat a run for its money. When it comes down to it, it really just depends on what you’re looking for in a Challenger.

While both the Hellcat and the Demon have a 6.2 liter V8 engine, the big difference is the horsepower. The Hellcat pumps out 707-horsepower while the Demon leaves it in the dust with 808-horsepower. The Demon is 100% a performance, drag-racing vehicle. In addition to the extreme power, it also has a larger induction air box (two, count em’ TWO cold air intakes), increased boost pressure, two-dual stage fuels pumps, AND a higher rpm limit. This particular Demon is #2187 of only 3,300 that were produced. So not only is this beast more powerful, it’s also more rare.

We got the opportunity to make this one even more one of a kind. We put fiber optics in the door panels that can change color on command. As well as XK Glow under the vehicle, in the foot wells, in the hood scoop and in the engine bay. We hooked up custom LED side markers and sequential signals. Halo headlights showcase the iconic challenger headlights, and the twin cold air intakes.
